Recipe of the Week

Dutch Oven Pork Chops
 
Ingredients:
4 Pork Chops
2 Potatoes (sliced)
1 Onion (sliced)
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
(or Cream of Chicken)
1/2 can of water
2-3 Tbsp. vegetable oil

Salt and Pepper to taste

 
Instructions:
Season pork chops with salt and pepper
A
dd vegetable oil to dutch oven and brown chops on both sides
Remove chops and sautee onions
Place chops back in dutch oven and cover with sauteed onions
Place potatoes over onions
Mix water and soup and add to dutch oven
Cook with 6-8 charcoal briquettes on top AND bottom of dutch oven until chops and potatoes are tender
